Logical Contracts is a small team. Its tools, Logical English and Logic Production Systems, come out of decades of research on logic programming at Imperial College London, and the people who did that research work on them with us.

Miguel Calejo

Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Miguel founded Logical Contracts, a division of Renting Point, at Madan Parque de Ciência in Caparica, Portugal. Built Logical English 2 and Logic Production Systems 2 with Robert Kowalski and Jacinto Dávila.

Robert Kowalski

Advisor

Robert is a pioneer of logic programming, at Imperial College London. Besides co-inventing PROLOG in the 70s, he designed Logical English, and created Logic Production Systems with Fariba Sadri, building on four decades of work on logic programming and legal reasoning, among it the British Nationality Act as a logic program and Event Calculus (1986).

Jacinto Dávila

Jacinto is a professor at the Universidad de Los Andes in Mérida, Venezuela, and holds a PhD in Logic and Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London. Researcher, full stack and logic programmer.
