Seventeen systems, read into plain English
2026-10-13
In October 2026 we made Logic Production Systems 2 open source, beside Logical English 2, and opened our translators to organisations.
Logical English is a way of writing rules in English that a computer can run, with the reasons for every answer. Logic Production Systems runs programs that act over time, such as contracts and processes. Both run in the browser, with nothing to install and no user account needed: https://le2.logicalcontracts.com and https://lps2.logicalcontracts.com/ide.
The translators read the programs of seventeen other systems into Logical English: Oracle Intelligent Advisor, Socotra, OIPA, Drools, Blawx (version 1), Epilog, L4, LegalRuleML, s(CASP), Catala, Axiom RuleSpec, PolicyEngine and OpenFisca, RuneDSL (CDM,ISDA DRR), Solidity, Daml, Bitcoin Miniscript, and Excel workbooks. Each translation, a twin, is checked against the other system’s own engine, and nine of them can be written back. The Migration Gallery lists each result, with a link that runs a twin and a video.
For organisations, the first step is free: send us one program, rulebase or spreadsheet, and get its twin back within five working days. What follows, and at what price, is on the pages For organisations and Pricing.
Where to meet us. At the Lisbon Beyond Summit (9–13 November 2026), and at JURIX 2026 in Toulouse (8 December 2026), where Miguel Calejo will co-present a tutorial on “Logical English as a Lingua Franca for Representing and Reasoning with Legal and Business Rules”.
The videos are on our YouTube channel.
